Our wedding is taking place on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Victoria Golf Club. The ceremony will take place at 3:00pm. We ask that guests arrive no later than 2:30pm.
Following the ceremony, the wedding party will be excused for photos. An adult reception will follow the ceremony starting at 5:30pm at the Victoria Golf Club.
The Victoria Golf Club is located at 1110 Beach Dr, Victoria, BC. Parking is free at the Victoria Golf Club.

Accommodations
A group rate has been arranged at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel which allows you to choose from the many different types of rooms. Oak Bay Beach Hotel is located directly across the street from the Victoria Golf Club.
Downtown Victoria is about a 20 minute drive from the wedding venue (approx. $30 taxi ride to the wedding venue). If you are planning to stay in Victoria for a few days, either before or after the wedding, we would recommend staying at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel. We have arranged a room rate at the Comfort which offers both suites and guest rooms.

Vancouver
The wedding may be happening in Victoria but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy some time in our hometown, Vancouver. We recommend the Best Western Plus, Uptown Hotel, that is located two blocks from our home. The best rates can be secured online in advance.
When it comes to things to do in the big smoke there are quite a few places that we have enjoyed and would like to share with you.
Our Story
Dan and Sheena met in 2007 at UVic through a mutual friend, Amy Lobb and started dating in October of that year.
In March 2009 Dan moved to Vancouver to begin his career and this was the start to a year and a half long distance relationship that involved many ferry trips back and forth between Victoria and Vancouver, BC.
In July of 2010, Sheena got a job in Vancouver and moved in with Dan. During these early years, Dan and Sheena have enjoyed many ski trips, travelled extensively and shared many fun times with friends and family near and far.
In late 2013, Dan and Sheena purchased their first home together in Vancouver. Shortly thereafter, Dan popped the question at Prospect Point in Stanley Park. Sheena said yes!
Bridesmaids
Jean Burrows Maid of Honour
Jean is one of Sheena’s nearest and dearest friends. They met many years ago, playing on the same night league basketball team. Despite attending different schools, Jean and Sheena have managed to stay friends, attending many birthday parties and countless games of monopoly (sleepless sleepovers) and scary movies!
Jemma May
Jemma is one of Sheena’s closes friends, despite living in Australia. They began working together, commuting together, skiing together and spending most work and non-work moments together. Unfortunately Jemma has now returned to the Australia, but this hasn’t halted their friendship!
Mary Swain
Sheena and Mary met shortly after Mary relocated to Canada when they both joined the Comets Netball team. Mary is a great friend, who is always up for an adventure or get together with Apples to Apples!
Groomsmen
Dave Piecuch Best Man
Dan's younger and only brother who shares many of the same hobbies, including a passion for cars and endured his fair share of brotherly love from Dan. Dave is an all around great brother with a heart of gold!
Joshua Nash
One of Dan's oldest friends (both in years and age) who’s been there for all the major milestones in Dan's life. Josh is a great friend that's always up for a philosophical talk!
David Kelly
A kindred spirit that shares many interests and hobbies with Dan including hockey, paintball and cars. David is a great buddy who's always up for an adventure!
